For the Engagement Ring, It’s Still all about the Diamond

The time has come to pop the question and the inevitable question is – what to do about the ring. While times have changed and a diamond ring does not have to be part of the proposal process, it is still central to an engagement.

Selecting the right diamond is a personal decision, and more couples are selecting the ring together, whether by looking online or going to a retail outlet. Cut, clarity and cost are important elements, but also the size and color of the diamond fit into the equation.

The setting is also a reflection of who the person is, but the centerpiece is the diamond. An engagement ring is definitely not a one-size-fits-all proposition. The diamond and the setting should say something about the person who will be wearing it.
